Small batch bakery sourcing local ingredients from Connecticut farms

Weekend Bakeshop is a delivery-only bakery built on the idea that local ingredients make better quality food. Each week we bake in small batches to bring fresh breads and treats to your home while sourcing from nearby farms to support our local Connecticut farming community. Our recipes are intentionally simple- most use fewer than five ingredients with no preservatives or fillers, ever.

Everything we use reflects care for our local community and environmental sustainability. Each week a portion of our profit is donated to a different, deserving charitable organization in Connecticut.

FAQ:

Q: Which ingredients are sourced locally?

A: All of the dairy, eggs, honey, maple, and produce used in our recipes are sourced from local farms here in Connecticut, with the majority coming from farms right here in Fairfield County.

Ingredients that we are unable to source from our local farming community are fair trade to ensure they are ethically sourced.

Q: When are my baked items made?

A: Every bread is baked to-order for your delivery!

Q: How long will my fresh baked goods last?

A: Breads will be fresh for 2-3 days if left (in container) at room temperature. You can extend their life up to a week by storing them in the refrigerator (however doing this might dry them out slightly).

Q: Do your products contain nuts and other allergens?

A:Most of our products contain some form of dairy, eggs, and wheat products. Please be advised that even though many of our baked goods do not contain nuts, we do bake in a kitchen where nuts are occasionally present and therefore cross-contamination is possible.
